Summer Art Adventures

Summer Art Adventures is open to campers age five and older. Programs run from 8:30a to 5:30p. Participants spend the morning working in the Art studio. Every afternoon, we go swimming at a neighborhood pool. Participants need to bring a morning snack, lunch, towel, sunscreen and swimsuit. Afternoon snack is provided. After snack, campers play games, read, and watch movies.

Costs: $225 per 1 week session
*$400 per 2 week session

Mixed Media campers are encouraged to use a wide variety of materials ranging from paint to cut up magazines freely in an environment that promotes experimentation and fun. Technical and compositional concerns will also be addressed.

Paper Crafts campers will learn traditional and non-traditional ways of using paper as we cut, glue, paint and decorate objects made primarily of paper. Sewing and Beading participants use needle and thread to make beautiful sashes, handkerchiefs, and any other projects we may come up with!

Pottery camp is designed to offer children opportunities to build clay making skills, hone aesthetic judgment, and to relax and enjoy a nurturing artistic experience. Hand building projects which emphasize creative self expression will include pieces as well as collaborative works. Small classes allow children of all ability levels to work on individualized projects. Several surface treatments will be explored including glazes, paints, stains and multimedia.

Pre-K Adventures

Our youngest campers will enjoy days filled with a variety of activities including arts and crafts, outdoor play, nature walks, splash days, and field trips.

Pre-K Adventures is conducted in two-week sessions beginning on June 16 with the final session ending on August 8. Campers are invited to join us for half-day sessions that run from 8:30a to 12:30p or you may choose to enroll them in the Full Day Pre-K Adventure from 8:30 to 5:30.

Pre-K Adventures is open to 3 and 4 year old children. All participants need to bring a morning snack and lunch. An afternoon snack will be provided for full-day campers.
