Here are the details for this Friday’s Dinner to Benefit the people of Haiti:

Friday, February 26, 2010 in the community room.

Dinner begins at 6:00p.

Good Moves will perform at 7:00p

Menu:  Soup, Salad, Bread and Dessert.  Proceeds go to CARE.

Tickets are $10.00 for Adults and $5.00 for children.

Tickets will be available for purchase on the playground this Wednesday, Thursday and Friday between 8:00a and 8:30a.

Due to inclement weather, TAS will close at 1:30p.  There will be NO aftercare today.

Hi everyone.  We have planned the next “few” steps on the AT and we thought we would send the dates so that you and your family can start planning.  These trips are for students grades 6 and up.  Anyone interested in the December trip must get approval from Doug or Jennifer.

AT WINTER HIKE:  December 5th and 6th. 14 miles in NC,  2 days,  one COLD night, Limit:  6. Cost:  $85.00.

AT SPRING HIKE:  March 11th – 14th.  We’ll leave after school on Thursday and hike the 1 mile to Wesser Shelter.  Friday morning we’ll begin our 3 day hike to The Nantahala Outdoor Activity Center.  Days will average 5 to 6 miles.  This trip will be a great intro to new backpackers.  Limit:  10.  Cost:  $185.00

SUMMER AT HIKE #1:  June 14-18.  Five day hike across 30 miles of North Carolina forest.  We’ll be hiking shelter to shelter from the Nantahala Outdoor Activity Center to Fontana Dam.  Limit:  10. Cost:  $475.00.

SUMMER AT HIKE #2:  August 1-7.  Beginning at the Fontana Dam Shelter (aka “The Fontana Hilton”) we’ll tackle the 40-mile wilderness that is the beginning of The Smoky Mountains.  Days will be longer than previous trips and packs a littler heavier.  Cost:  $575.00.
