We are pleased to announce that the Appalachian Trail Camp will take place from June 9 through June 20, 2008.  The camp is open to rising 6th Graders and above.  The first five days will be spent preparing, training, reading and hiking.  We will depart for North Georgia on Friday, June 13 and begin our hike on Saturday, June 14.  Plans are to cover approximately 50 miles of the AT from Springer Mountain to Unicoi Gap.    We’ll complete the hike by June 19 and return that evening or Friday morning.The cost for the camp is $580 - more details to follow including training opportunities, equipment needs and options as well as specifics about the trip.

School will once again join Janke Glass Studios at Studioplex for an
afternoon of art and music in conjunction with their Annual Winter Glass Festival.

Students will perform from 12:00-1:00 and show art work from
12:00-6:00 (more information coming soon).

You’ve learned how to draw, now learn how to make your drawings move.  Join the Atlanta School’s new afterschool art studio.  We’ll learn different ways to animate our artwork, from flip boos to simple movies.  We meet Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30 in the upstairs art room, starting October 3rd.

$100.00 covers all 10 sessions from October 3rd through December 12.  Supplies are included in the cost.
