We are once again offering our hugely successful Appalachian Trail Backpacking Camp. Experience the AT first-hand, enjoy the comradery, and relish in the accomplishment of through-trekking for a week on the footpath to Maine. This summer we will be expanding the camp to two sessions.

Session One: June 8-19, 2008
We will be hiking from Spring Mountain, the southern terminus of the AT, to Unicoi Gap. We will spend the first week planning and preparing for the trip. We will leave Atlanta for Springer Mountain on Friday, June 12, 2009, arrive at Unicoi Gap at the end of the week, and gorge at the Unicoi Lodge for lunch before heading back to Atlanta. This session is geared for those who have not yet experienced a backpacking trek, though those with experience are more than welcome, if not encouraged, to join!
Cost: $750

Session Two: August 1-7, 2009
We will have a crash-preparation for the trip over the weekend of August 1-2 and rejoin the trail from our last point of northern progress. This session is geared toward those who have backpacked with us before, though new-comers with a sense of adventure are more than welcome to join!
Cost: $400
