World Civilization I: due Monday, March 15, 2010
Catch up on all outlining. There should be no more excuses about being behind after this!
We will work in class on Monday on reading and outlining Chapter 14, section 1 (and 2, if lucky).
RESEARCH PAPER – Outlines and Introductory Paragraphs. You MUST turn them in – no excuses. Spend time this weekend as you have no text reading and outlining assigned. Your failure to turn these in will impact your grade! The ONLY exception to this is for Angus and Ariya, who will have until Wednesday, March 17, 2010.
World Civiliztion II: due Monday, March 15, 2010
Chapter 36, sections 1 and 2.
Watch Program 2 of “Elusive Peace,” which can be found at Youtube.com at THIS LINK. We have completed the first program.
Find at least one article supporting Palestine and one article supporting Israel, read it, and be prepared to debate the opposing viewpoints with regard to peace. Create (type up) a proposal for peace between the Palestinian Authority and the State of Israel, and be prepared to defend it.

9th Grade Project: due Monday, March 15, 2010
Michael: Sherman paper - as I’ve never seen an outline or list of resources, be prepared to rewrite it upon my review.
Independent Project – As you are preparing a Power-Point style presentation, I want to see at least 20 screens along with, at the very least, a specific selection of the accompanying music and your “dialogue.” This is not as assignment for “something like this.” It’s time for the real deal.
U.S. Literature: due Monday, March 15, 2010
The Sun Also Rises:
Michael: Prepare a presentation on The Sun Also Rises, using at least three resources, on whether the novel is autobiographical or the extent to which it is. Bring in your resources and either an outline or note cards for the presentation.
Caroline – I will assign a presentation to you next week.
